First, the principle and operation process
Principle:
1.The balloon is placed in the stomach through the endoscope, and normal saline or gas (about 400-700ml) is injected, occupying about 50% of the stomach volume, reducing food intake and enhancing satiety through physical stimulation.
2. Operation process:
Preoperative evaluation: check the health status of the stomach and exclude contraindications such as gastric ulcer and esophageal hiatal hernia.
Balloon placement: enter the stomach through the mouth and inflate/water, without surgery, the whole process takes about 20-30 minutes.
